Privacy policy
Privacy, in plain English.
This site sets no cookies, runs no third-party trackers, and shows no consent banner — because it does not need one. Here is exactly what it does collect, and why.

The short version
This website sets no cookies, uses no third-party analytics, runs no advertising pixels, and does not track you across other websites. That is why there is no consent banner. There is nothing to consent to.
You can check that yourself, and we would rather tell you exactly what you will find than invite you to look and then surprise you. Open your browser's developer tools:
- Cookies: none. Not one, on any page.
- Local storage: one entry,
tw_sid— a random string your own browser generated, described under "the page counter" below. Clear it any time and a new random one appears. - Network: this site's own files, plus one request to
cloudfunctions.net. That is our own counting service running on Google Cloud — our infrastructure, not an advertising or analytics company, and it receives only the page address, the site you arrived from, and that random string.
Two things do collect information, and both are described completely below: the quote form, because you asked us to contact you, and an anonymous page counter.
What the quote form collects
If you submit the form on the quote page, we receive what you typed: your name, your business name, your email address, the service you selected, your rough site size and budget range, and your message. If you arrived at the form from a pricing card, we also record which one.
That information is used for exactly two things:
- Sending you a written quote or a follow-up question.
- Keeping a record of the enquiry so we can pick the conversation back up if you return.
It is stored in a private database hosted on Google Cloud, and it is emailed to the studio owner and back to you as a confirmation, using an email delivery provider. It is never sold, never rented, and never shared with anyone else. There is no marketing list — if you do not hear back from us about your enquiry, you do not hear from us at all.
The page counter
Every page view sends one small message containing the page address, the site you arrived from (if any), and a random identifier that your browser generates and keeps locally. That identifier is not linked to your name, your email, or anything else about you, and it is not shared with any other website.
It exists so we can count pages and visits. It is not a cookie, it is not used for advertising, and it cannot follow you off this site. If you clear your browser storage, it is gone and a new random identifier is generated the next time you visit.
The client portal
Clients receive a private access key. If you enter it, your browser remembers it locally so you do not have to type it again. The key is checked by our server to decide which site's statistics to show you, and it can be replaced at any time on request.
What we never collect
- We never ask for or store payment card details on this site.
- We do not collect location beyond the country-level information every web server necessarily sees.
- We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not participate in any advertising network.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children.
How long we keep things
Quote requests are kept while the enquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterwards as a business record. Page-counter data is kept in aggregate. Client records are kept for the length of the engagement and for as long afterwards as we are required to keep business records.
Your choices
Email hello@thapaweb.com and ask, and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. No form, no account, no verification hoops beyond confirming you are the person who sent the enquiry. California residents have specific rights in this area and we will honour them regardless of whether the studio is large enough to be legally required to.
We have never sold personal information and we never will.
Where the data physically sits
The counting service and the quote-request database run on Google Cloud, under our own account. Google is our hosting provider for those pieces — it is not given the data for its own purposes, and none of it is connected to Google Analytics, Google Ads, or any advertising system. Our email is delivered by an email provider, which necessarily sees the address it is sending to.
Other people's services
This site links to other websites, including our clients' and our own products. Once you follow a link, you are on someone else's site under their policy, not ours.
The infrastructure behind this site — hosting, the database that stores quote requests, and the service that delivers our email — necessarily processes the information described above in order to function. They act on our instructions and do not use it for their own purposes.
Changes
If what this site collects ever changes, this page changes in the same release. That is a rule we hold ourselves to, because a privacy policy that describes something the site does not actually do is worse than no policy at all.
